Sportsmanship issues!

Now days in basketball, football, tennis, baseball, track, and cross country there is very unlike sportsmanship issues. Most people think they get along great but when so people lose they get very upset on and off the court or field they think it is good not to shake players hand after the game. When so people see that they talk about you school in a bad way thats why we always shake there hands at the end of the game. Most players focus on competing with each other instead of helping each other out to defeat the other team. When you think of sportsmanship you think of great attitude or very friendly but most people dont see what happens off the court all they see is what happens on the court. Making jokes about other players on the court it very unnecessary  and also making ugly faces at players is very wrong to. According to a 2017 survey of more than 17,000 referees, parents and coaches cause the majority of problems with sportsmanship. As parents, we let our children know what our expectations are so they know what success looks like. Coaches need to do the same thing for youth sports parents. If you expect your kid’s team to execute a flawless ‘give-and-go’ when they are just getting the basics of passing down, you’re likely to be a frustrated parent on the sidelines.  Likewise, many parents fail to realize youth sports athletes don’t know every rule in the book, and that officials adjust the enforcement of fundamental rules as kids are learning the game.As parents, we hold our kids accountable to following the rules in our homes. Most students have rules at home and follow thoses so whats so different about following the rules during the game. It should be the same as her as at home really. So we should have great manners at school and during the games and at home!
